Bellevue University- The 24th ranked team in the NAIA kicked off their season with two offensive explosions against York College. With a total of 33 runs scored in the two games, Bellevue would start their season 2-0. Mathieu Sirois and Andrew Ishii would combine for a big day with Sirois going 3-4 with 7 RBI’s and Andrew Ishii hitting 3 home runs, two of which came as back to back home runs with Sirois.

Presentation College – The Saints started off their season on the road to face Avila University. The Saints would get on the board right off the bat against Avila but in the end they would fall the first 2 games but would rebound to get their first win of the season on Monday 5-3 against Avila. 

Northern Sun

Minot State- Minot would start the season off strong against Metropolitan State University of Denver as they would take the first two games of the season before falling in extra innings on Sunday. Declan Buckle would record a hit in each of the three games, collecting 5 total hits in the lead off spot.

Minnesota Crookston – Crookston would start the season off right with an 8-0 victory over Northwestern Oklahoma State University. They would follow up there season opener with another win the next day but would fall in the third game of the series. Jake Dykhoff would get the win in the opener going 5 IP, only allow 2 hits while striking out 8.

Northern State – Northern State would fall in their season opener to Emporia State but at the time of the article being written they are leading 4-1 in the 7th against Central Oklahoma and moving closer to their first win of the season.
