Dordt vs Sterling College – Kicking off their season Dordt would take on Sterling College in a four game set. In the end Dordt would get swept to kick things off.

Northwestern vs Ottawa – Continuing their weekend with another two game series, this time against Ottawa (KS), the Red Raiders would be unable to pick up a win and would get swept in this series.

Briar Cliff – Starting their season with three games against three different opponents, Briar Cliff would end the weekend going 1-2 with a win over Roosevelt University but falling to William Penn Univ and Evangel Univ.

Concordia – The 18th ranked team in the nation would take on four different opponents but the results would be the same all weekend long as Concordia would sweep the weekend 4-0. They scored a total of 54 runs over the weekend defeating William Woods Univ, Univ of St Mary, Viterbo and William Penn Univ.

Doane – Traveling to take on McPherson for a three game series, Doane would only be able to get one win, going 1-2. 

Hastings – Another Round Robin style of weekend had Hastings facing off against four different opponents and would come out going 2-2. Hastings would get wins over Graceland Univ and Viterbo, but would fall to William Penn Univ and Central Methodist Univ the #2 ranked team in the nation.

GPAC and NSAA

Morningside vs Waldorf – Starting off their season with a four game series against Waldorf Univ, Morningside would come out strong sweeping the weekend to start their season 4-0.

Dakota State vs Northwestern – Facing off in a two game series it would be Dakota State coming out on top for both games.

Dakota State vs Dakota Wesleyan Univ – In another cross conference matchup for Dakota State they would sweep both games against Dakota Wesleyan.

Mount Marty vs Presentation – Mount Marty would keep their season record perfect in the win column as they would sweep the 3 game series against Presentation.

NSIC

Winona State – Taking on Drury Univ for a three game series, Winona would be unable to pull out a win as they get swept in the series.

Northern State – Taking on Washburn in a four game series, Northern State would fall in the first two but would get in the win column in the third game before falling again to finish the series 1-3.

Sioux Falls – Taking on Southwest Baptist Univ in a four game series, Sioux Falls would put up 49 runs over the four games to earn the sweep.

Bemidji – Taking on Rockhurst in a four game series, Bemidji would hang with Rockhurst but just would not be able to pull out a win as they would get swept over the weekend.

Wayne State – Matching up with Pittsburg State for a three game series, Wayne State would fall in the first two games but would bounce back in a big way scoring 20 runs in the final game to get the victory and end the weekend going 1-2.

UMary – Matching up with Lindenwood Univ for a four game series, UMary would split each of the double headers going 2-2 over the weekend.

Concordia St-Paul – Traveling down to Wichita KS to take on Newman in a four game series, Concordia St-Paul would have a big game in the first days double header scoring 20 runs, but wouldn’t be able to put enough runs across the board the rest of the weeknd and would end up going 1-3 in the series.

NSAA

Bellevue – Playing three games over the weekend Bellevue would defeat Friends University and then would split a two game series with the #14 ranked team Univ of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. 

Mon-Dak

Dawson CC – Taking on College of Southern Idaho in a four game series to start the season. Dawson would get a win on the first day but wouldn’t be able to pull out another win going 1-3 over the weekend.

Miles CC – Miles would start their season with a four game series against Northeaster Junior College. Miles would get swept in the first double header but would split the second double header to get their first win of the season and start 1-3.
