What things did you see from the team in the fall?
Pleased with the fall. Spent a lot of time and resources on player development – the group is relentless in their pursuit of growth. They practice hard and with energy. Pitching staff has been really good and defensively we are in a good position. Feel good about the talent offensively. Highly competitive group, that understands and has bought into our culture.
What was the focus during the fall for the team?
A mixture of individual player development, and over arching team concepts. Players are developing on their individual plans to train efficiently. They were able to flip the switch at a high level and practice like a team that is ready to win day in and day out.
What are the expectations and goals for the team entering the season?
We’ve created a lot of momentum and upward trajectory over last season and this fall. I think this is a group that can compete for an NSIC championship and NCAA post season play. It’s a mixture of high end talent, and pedigree that has won at various levels.
