Who are some key returning position players and what do you hope to see from them this year?
Jace Dew & Darion Alexander had key roles in the OF last season we’re excited to see them continue and Build off their success of last year and develop into leaders for this group.
Who are your key returning pitchers and why?
Mitch Sand & Marcos Palacios. Mitch was an all conference arm & Marcos got off to a really good start before missing the season with an injury. We expect them to lead our staff this year.
Do you have an incoming impact freshman or transfers that will help the team in 2023?
Brennan Phillips (C/IF) & Bryce Libke (RHP) are two transfers we expect to have big roles this year.
What was the focus and what things did you see from the team in the fall?
Gelling together as a team and getting players up to speed at the college level. We are almost an entirely new group with only 5 returning players and over 70% of our roster being freshman.
What are the expectations and goals for the team entering the season?
To continue developing these men as players and humans and build off the success of the programs past success.
